A Riot 03:03
They say it Was a riot, but not a protest, And that’s okay. Because it was over A victory. Thousands took to the streets Because the eagles won something, But if your black and want something Then you’re a fucking threat. If you’re fighting for a basic right Or you just wanna live. They’ll lock you up. They’ll shoot you down. They’ll mock you in the end. They set fires to the streets, but where were the pigs? Laughing and cheering With the rest of them (Chorus) They say all lives matter, But only them. Not if your black, Or your Mexican. In private prisons They fill the jails. But if your white, And your rape someone. Well, It’s not your fault Cuz your one of us. If you came here for a better life, Well they country says that Your aint right. To build a wall, To keep them out. With Children left in Jail cells. (Chorus) They say all lives matter, But only them. Not if your black, Or your Mexican. In private prisons They fill the jails. A Misdemeanor’s got you 30 years. Sell a plant and your life is theirs. Separate families are the only goal. Cuz there only doing What their told. If you’re fighting for a basic right Or you just wanna live. They’ll lock you up. They’ll shoot you down. They’ll mock you in the end. But what is a riot? And what is it worth? To burn down some buildings. To save the earth. To bond together. To save ourselves. To try and repair Their living hell. But now there’s Nazis That roam the streets. Waving their flags, And trying to preach. They’ll complain If we shut them down, But we don’t want them In this town! (Chorus) They say all lives matter, But only them. Not if your black, Or your Mexican. In private prisons They fill the jails. But what is a riot? And what is it worth? To burn down some buildings. To save the earth. To bond together. To save ourselves. To try and repair Their living hell. But what is a riot? And what is it worth? To burn down some buildings. To save the earth. To bond together. To save ourselves. To try and repair Their living hell.

The Obsolete 02:37
When you take a walk-through nature Just to see what you will find, All the creatures and their meanings Begin to intertwine. Everything has a purpose, They don’t just live or die. Now let’s see what happens to ourselves When we take a look inside. We find darkness as a state of mind, Became a law, in which we live by And everybody’s looking for a crutch. Acts of kindness fade away, Into our racist darkest days. As we think about the “I’s” And not of us. Homicide, insecticide, We don’t care if species die. Our neighbor is our only enemy. Politics rip up and divide. We follow leaders who always lie. As we became a ghost Of our society. Now let’s think back to the heroes Of our past. Of the times they lived, And what is left. There are times where The good defeats the bad, But the money’s still collected by The upper hand. And it leaves us Collecting all the scraps. Killing our brothers Just to pay our debts. Cuz there are times where The good defeats the bad, But the money’s still collected by The upper hand. the money’s still collected by The upper hand. the money’s still collected by The upper hand. So, when you take a walk-through nature Try to see what you will find. Because the world needs more meaning Or we’re all gonna die. The cancer has infected us. We’re rotting from inside. And the only way to save ourselves, Is to take a look inside.

I'm stuck inside most day and night, But there are places my soul takes flight. I'm stuck inside your cash machine bound by laws I find obscene. If I could leave you'd find me here, Breathing in this mountain air. I'd meet you by the canyon side, Never again will we hide. And the desert won't be kind to me, But I know at least I would be free And finally I can just be. If we're defined by what we sea, Then I think that is what I’d be. Just a droplet in the ocean, Living in perpetual motion. And once I reached a distant shore In evaporation I would soar. So breath me, Or be me, Or drown me, Or drink me. You'll find me, Won't bind me, Can't confine me, Never define me. Because my tragedy may shape me, But it will never make me. Freedom is nothing And neither am I. As endless as this bright blue sky. I watch the seconds tick away, All throughout the long work day. But as soon as I'm gone, Ya know I'll sleep til dawn. Tell myself that this is all. Life is just this damn dull. Until I see the sunshine, And realize my time It’s really mine. So leave the cigarettes behind. Have a brand new state of mind. I'll live amongst the wildflowers. Ill Leave the city to those cowards. Run amongst this world to see. Climb every tree, And Save every bee. Swim every sea, And Be fucking free. But until then here I am, With my friends that make it bearable. When the world is terrible. With all of you, I know I'll make it through.

Let’s all go to the circus. A happy day in deed. We’re all here to gather in Kingsport, Tennessee. Let’s watch the happy animals. Cheer and dance with glee. Here in the big top, We’ll cheer and laugh and scream. We sit down for the show. The bears are first to go. The band starts to play. We’re all raring to go. Now here’s the main attraction. The crowd starts to go wild. Mary is finally here. She’s here to make us smile. The time is finally here, Time to scream and cheer. (Chorus) Well here comes Mary, She’s on parade. Here comes Mary, To brighten your day. Here comes Mary, Were hand in hand. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her… Let’s watch her hang. Now think about the man Who brought the train. And think about the man Who built the crane. And think about the children, That watched the whole thing. It was a circus, And Charlie’s to blame. And then there’s Eldridge, Well he’s the real victim here. I say sarcastically, As I’m the one who cheers. A hotel worker, hired as An elephant trainer. Due to lack of sympathy well… He’s no longer here. See, between shows, Mary went to the watering hole. She stopped along the way, To eat, or so a witness says . Was on the way to different tent, Well you… Well you know Eldridge… He didn’t like that shit. He began to throw a fit. Whipping her Facing with his own stubbornness. She did what she had to do, Pulled him from her back. Threw him as far as she could, And stomped him in the sand. (Chorus) Well here comes Mary, She’s on parade. Here comes Mary, To brighten your day. Here comes Mary, Were hand in hand. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her… Let’s watch her hang. That brings us back to Charlie, A creative man of sorts. He thought about the profits. Found some paper and he wrote. A plan he had to swindle, To save the famous “Sparks”. The circus he loved so much, And the show… And the show… We watched as she was hoisted, The cable broke and she fell. Again she was raised, She stayed there and she swayed. I’ll never forgive the circus. I’ll never forget that day. Charlie Spark’s Circus Let the devil join the game. And Mary was a blessing We don’t deserve to this day. And tons of people gathered, And some still screamed and cheered. (chorus) Well here comes Mary, She’s on parade. Here comes Mary, To brighten your day. Here comes Mary, Were hand in hand. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her play. Let’s watch her… Let’s watch her hang. Now I’m proud of her for fighting. I’m proud of her for standing up. I’m proud of her for fighting. I’m proud of her for standing up. I’m proud, I’m proud of Mary. I’m proud of her for fighting. And I’m proud of her for standing up. I’m proud of her for fighting. I’m proud of her for standing up. I’m proud, I’m proud of Mary.

Burn it Down 01:24
As I sit and stare, For a little while Time passes. Thoughts that show care are, bottled up In glasses. I am a changed man From moments before. Dreams of a battle plan For what I will fight for. “Some days you gotta make Your own sunshine” I’ve heard that line before. But I've come to terms that I, I just can’t take it anymore. If we think about the world And what it’s done to us. It’s in our own imagination Like the god we trust. We grow up being told, To “put ourselves in other shoes”. Were also told That “in the end We cannot lose”. So, burn it down. So, burn it down. So, burn it down.

The cells are dividing, Today is the day. If You haven’t noticed Your whole life will change. But will you notice, Before its to late? Or will death come knocking And take you away. I got a hole in my chest, Cuz beat cancers ass. The things you wish you learned In your failed health class. Like mental disorders, And things that can kill. Because cancer commercials Wont educate you. Mental Stability Will challenge your fate. Your thought process says, That Your end has a date. Well Will you stand and fight? Or accept your pain? C’mon fight this thing. Its never to late. Now I know you. At least I hope to. Whatever your illness, Or what the world does to you. Because seeing the face, Of death in your life. Can alter your mind, And make you think twice. Because the world is sick. It’s a twisted mess. will we stand together, And fight for the best? We’ll take on the world, As the cancerous crew. Will you join me? Because I’d join you. Mental Stability Will challenge your fate. Your thought process says, That Your end has a date. Well Will you stand and fight? Or accept your pain? C’mon fight this thing. Its never to late.

I’d love to say that music saves me, In the end it really trades me. Time to think, And time to sing. It helps me float, So I wont sink. Turns out that I'm afraid of writing, Just because I'm used to hiding. Help me say These things I mean. (Chorus) Cuz I'm good at words, But not out loud. And I'm not here to please the crowd. I'm just here to write some songs, And I won't complain if you… You sing along. I am here by grace or force, But In the end, it was my choice. So, I may be a pacifist. But that don't mean I won't throw fists. So punch a Nazi, Kick a cop. We're here to make oppression stop. And Sometimes I want to be home, But mostly I just want to roam. I'm stuck between safety and freedom, Smoking cigs when I don't need ‘em. (Chorus) Cuz I'm good at words, But not out loud. And I'm not here to please the crowd. I'm just here to write some songs, And I won't complain if you… You sing along. And I'm sorry I just keep repeating. My brains says it’s what I’m needing. It's like a faucet, Won’t turn off. It keeps on dripping, My sink’s clogged. OCD and paranoia, Nothing new just my disorder. (Chorus) Cuz I'm good at words, But not out loud. And I'm not here to please the crowd. I'm just here to write some songs, And I won't complain if you… You sing along. And I talked to a friend the other day. They asked me how my life had changed. Social skills have gotten better, Nicotine addiction… Well… that's gotten worse. So I’m just here to remind you, That you're one step ahead And it's all behind you. Help me say these things I mean. Cuz I met my friends intoxicated, But soon I met them not so faded. I found I loved them just the same. And life is just a big ol’ game. So it took some time. But now I see, That I could love a sober me.

Last night I had a dream, That everything had changed. My teeth fell out, My hair grew thin, I’m too old to pretend again. And The stories I, Would tell at night. About the places I have been. Would ramble on, Into the day. My smile would never Fade away. But when everything changed, What mistakes did I make? To get me to that very. That very day? And if I had friends, Along that long way. Were they the ones, I thought would stand Beside me? Or did I meet them along a winding road? I path I was told To never go? Let’s stick this out. Let’s see how it goes, You never know. You never know. Last night I had a dream, That everything had changed. My teeth fell out, My hair grew thin, I’m too old to pretend again. The stories I, Would tell at night. Would ramble on, Id ramble on, Id ramble on. Id ramble on, Id ramble on, Id ramble on, Id ramble on. But when everything changed, What mistakes did I make? To get me to that very. That very day? And if I had friends, Along that long way. They’d probably leave me Leave me alone with my brain. That At night would haunt me, All damn day. I’d do my best To never sleep. To keep the Thoughts away. Can I help you? Can you help me? What I can say? What can I say? Da da-da-da Da da-da-da Da da-da da-da Da da-da-da Da da-da-da Da da-da-da Da da-da da-da Da da-da-da But when everything changed, What mistakes did I make? To get me to that very. That very day? And if I had friends, Along that long way. Were they the ones, I thought would stand Beside me? Or did I meet them along a winding road? I path I was told To never go? Let’s stick this out. Let’s see how it goes, You never know. You never know. You never know. You never know. You never know. You never know. Last night I had a dream That everything, Had changed.

Human Resources, On top on a hill. Not far away, The bodies lay still. All victims they say. From the white plague. But here is the story, Of my horrid stay. I remember the day, The foundation was laid. For the building they said Would save. The sacred ground. They tore it all down, And disrupted the spirits That stayed. (Chorus) Many went in, And fewer came out. I noticed the smokestacks, I noticed the smell. The nurses lived close, Cuz the people would yell. I noticed the stones building up As well. I woke up one day, With a pain in my chest. Thinking about the ones They laid to rest. How did the suffer? And how did they die? What treatments did they think, Would stop it this time? Ignore the problem, It will go away. A thought I would tell myself, Everyday. Go on with your life, There isn’t much left. Enjoy your time, And enjoy your health. I woke up one night, With a chill in my soul. The pain in my chest, Oh, how it had grown. I worried about, If I should seek help. On top of that hill, That filled me with doubt. My first night in I tried not to dwell, On that sent I remember so well. The nurses were nice, But couldn’t yet tell. How sick I became, Before entering this hell. Some of the ones, Who stayed in my room. They didn’t return tonight. They fell victim to, What most people do. Cold sweats and the end Of their lives. (Chorus) Many went in, And fewer came out. I noticed the smokestacks, I noticed the smell. The nurses lived close, Cuz the people would yell. I noticed the stones building up As well. There is no treatment. Only this battle. And a system Of poisons. Clean air for your lungs, Cannot do you wrong. But the voices I'm hearing Say different. Posture to stimulate Healing from soars. But my bloody cough, May end it. I’ve been losing weight, Most every day. And nothing I eat Will stay in. I started to yell. Into the night. They next day, They moved me outside. Said” the sun was my treatment” So, “just lay in bed”. This is what they think Will stop the dead. I laid there and waited, I tried to get sleep. The sun in my eyes, Ignored and weak. They say this is healing? What is this a joke? Do they want me to die, Out here all alone? I heard all the voices. Some you still can. Ones of the dead, From this promise land. They instructed me. They coached me along. I died right there, On the front lawn. (Chorus) Many went in And fewer came out I noticed the smokestacks I noticed the smell The nurses lived close Cuz the people would yell I noticed my stone has been put up As well My time there was short, But felt so long. You’re lucky as hell, You didn’t come along. So, play on our hill. But know where I died. And know how few of us Had survived.

As your life fades away, But your smile seems to stay. With you stay and dance with me? Out into the night. Only seen my streetlights. Only footsteps we hear, Filled with glee. I wish you would stay, With me every day. But I know that everything ends. So, let’s have this dance. To us, till the end. Come haunt the streets With me. Horns in the air. Surrounded by lights. We danced and danced, Into the night. The smile on your face, I could stare at all day. But now I can forever. That night, you and me, As happy as can be. Well It’s the last thing remembered. My arms around you, No one had a clue, As the party went on Without you. As time ticked by, And we flew on by, From where we stood To where we’d stay. As your life fades away, But your smile seems to stay. With you stay and dance with me? With me. With me. With me. As we laid there, In the rain dear. All our issues, Fade away. Like a statue, Everlasting. We’ll forever , Stay the same. Horns in the air. Surrounded by lights. We danced and danced, Into the night. The smile on your face, I could stare at all day. But now I can forever. Together forever. Till the end of time. I’ll dance with you By my side.

When they send us off to war, We will see the battle grounds. Walking past our neighbors, And their houses broken down. The street signs look familiar, Cuz they are all town down. And I swear that time stands still, When there’s nothing left around. Now that the current world war, Has broken down the doors, For the powerful to lead the poor. Can we all stand and fight, The ones that said its right? As they call for the destruction Of our lives? We can stand up. We can stand tall. We can Stop the tanks. And break the walls. We can stand arm-in-arm, Until we make it stop. We can Block the roads, And say we’ve had enough. Because the propaganda won’t tear us apart. And we don’t want their wars. (Chorus) Because the current world war, Has broken down the doors, For the powerful to lead the poor. Can we all stand and fight, The ones that said its right? As they call for the destruction Of our lives? We can band together, And help the poor. Help our friends, our family And so much more. Because the war we need to fight, Is on the front lines. Here in our homeland. It’s time to make it right. Because the propaganda won’t tear us apart. And we don’t want their wars. (Chorus) Because the current world war, Has broken down the doors, For the powerful to lead the poor. Can we all stand and fight, The ones that said its right? As they call for the destruction Of our lives? What will it take, When we are one? To stand up to the war machine, And make sure it is done? When we’re together. We are strong. Its time to rise. Stand up and fight. Cuz we’re the ones in charge. Because the propaganda won’t tear us apart. And we don’t want their wars. (Chorus) Because the current world war, Has broken down the doors, For the powerful to lead the poor. Can we all stand and fight, The ones that said its right? As they call for the destruction Of our lives? When they send us off to war, We will see the battle grounds. Walking past our neighbors, And their houses broken down. The street signs look familiar, Cuz they are all town down. And I swear that time stands still, When there’s nothing left around.

We left one day, With hope in our hearts. Left Madison behind, Headed west towards a farm. With an open road ahead, And enough gas to start. The future can be hard to guess, Let’s face it arm-in-arm. We made it to our first stop, And struggled up the hill. The house we pulled behind us Was three tons worth of steel, And the plate it didn’t match the make We had to make it work. The VIN we got of another camper, Lost up in the woods. Well, we forged the registration, And named her Avalon. I tell ya, if it didn’t work, We wouldn’t write thing song. Well, we got the plates, And we put them on, And everything was fine. Got pulled over a couple times, The cops aint payed no mind. Because everything on their end, Looked like it was fine. They’d let us go, we’d drive away, And laugh into the night. The inside we fixed up, And hung I94. A sign I took right off the pole To add to the decor. A garden it would keep us feed, A bed would keep us warm. We had a generator, To cook food in the morn. So, we traveled west and south, Ended up in Denver. Spent some time in Gunnison, And rested out endeavor. Well, we hiked all through the great divide, And saw the painted wall. We shared some laughs, relaxed, and Camped, And probably broke some laws. Now through the trip, We had our cat. Now, Abbi is her name. The cutest little goofball, She keeps me fully sane. All the hiking, Up and down. Along with us, she came. Side by side, And always here. To play another day. Then the desert It was kind to us. A happy time well spent. We sang, And played, And broke some shit. Blew a tire in Havasou. Made us want to scream. Saw a couple ghost towns, And made it to palm Springs. Joshua Tree will always be, Just like home to me. If I could, you know that I would Take one home with me. Yea now we are in the evergreen state. (Yes, we are) Trying just to live our lives With new friends of ours. With all the dreams of climbing, And hiking through the woods. With all the wonder from those days, We’d keep going if we could.

In 1846, We started this disaster trip. Across devilish terrain. Under the twenty-eight. Pioneers on wagon train, Eighty-seven to start the day. Will we get there? I don’t know. Now forty less remain. I’m Louis Keseberg, I did what I had to survive. Five months in snow. Had to make it out alive. The nation was at war, And we were low on food. Tell me what the fuck Was I supposed to do. Years have gone by, Since the good old days. A nation in poverty, And we can’t escape. But we can learn. We break free. We can eat the bastards, And lick the plate clean. Now we’re in a bastard state. Nowhere to hide, Nowhere is safe. We’re long past the days of, Twenty-eight. Now we see, Tear gas at caravans. And the food, Is withheld from our hands. Can we eat now? I don’t know. But where the fuck does It all go? I am one of poverty. I did what I had to survive. Five months without work, Had to make it out alive. We are in a class war, And they are hording food. Tell me what the fuck Was I supposed to do? Years have gone by, Since we took that trip. Still stuck in the mountains, Trying to jump ship. But we can learn. We can break free. We can eat the bastards, And lick the plates clean. Let’s trim the trees, And clear the disease. It will take us all. We can do it as a team. We need to fight, And take our country back. Let’s beat the rich. Let’s Eat the rich. Let’s beat the rich. Let’s Eat the rich. Let’s beat the rich. Let’s Eat the rich. Let’s eat the rich. And be free.

No one in this world Needs an elephant tusk, Other than an elephant. No one needs a picture With a tiger cub Declawed for your enjoyment. Now imagine If you will, Being declawed for display. So a children can take your picture, And Put you on a leash to play. Now imagine being two months old, Being taken from your mother. So a tourist could feed you. From a mother fucking bottle. At two years old, Your taken to a vet. Not just to get your nails trimmed. You know They take much more than that. See, Your tiger pride And Your childhood, They stripped it all away. So they can make some money, And little kids can play. Nat geo says That zoos, Are meant to entertain. But also educate, Conserve, And rehabilitate . Now how can we sit by, And Let things go on like this. Knowing that a zoo like this, Should never exist. A zoo like this, Should never exist. A zoo like this, Should never exist. A zoo like this, Should never exist. One Two Three See, Your tiger pride And Your childhood, They stripped it all away. So they can make some money, And little kids can play. See, Your tiger pride And Your childhood, They stripped it all away. So they can make some money, And little kids can play. See, Your tiger pride And Your childhood, They stripped it all away. So they can make some money, And little kids can play. I wonder what would happen, If things went the other day? You know, if humans got their fingers trimmed, To make the world a better place? Maybe save endangered species? And make the world a better place? So declaw your fucking children, And make the world a better place. Because if a zoo in Thailand thinks, That their idea is so great. Then try it on yourself, And let mother nature play.
